Over 150 Families Took Part in Sports Activities with Darko Team This Season

Darko Team, the Sofia-based athletics club, organized three family competitions and dozens of training sessions for amateur athletes during the season, bringing together children, parents and sports enthusiasts of all ages.
More than 150 families took part in the relay events “Me, Mum and Dad – Athletes”, which have become one of the club’s key initiatives for promoting family participation, active lifestyles and community spirit through athletics.
During the events, Darko Team also presented the European initiative CoachCraft, funded by the Erasmus+ Sport programme.
Over the past two years, Sports Club Darko Team – Sofia has been working on the project together with the Slovenian volleyball club ŠD FITT ČRNUČE. The project aims to support the development of young sports coaches through education, mentorship and the exchange of good practices.

The platform provides educational modules for beginner coaches, as well as a Code of Conduct that promotes respect, inclusion and fair play in sport.
