#GoodGovernanceSport presented during Sportexpo 2019 in Thessaloniki

Aetoi Thessalonikis as a member of the National Federation for Disabled Athletes participated in the largest Greek expo for sports Sportexpo / 10-13.04.2019 and promoted the European sports program YODA Mentors, Good Governance in Sports and RISE in which the club is involved. Thousands of visitors, lots of events, great atmosphere.

Sportexpo 2019 has been held in Thessaloniki, Greece in the period 10-13 April 2019 as 4th International Exhibition of Sports 2019 at Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre. Sportexpo 2019 is a medium where many most important products and solutions are exhibited. Several of these tend to be about Sports, Sports Equipments, Sportswear, Athletics and Marathon. The meeting provides an invaluable educational experience and an opportunity to network with top minds in the field, as well as a global community of more than 20000 Sports & Sporting professionals from every subspecialty.

During the event Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania announced a joint effort to host the 2030 World Cup and 2028 Euros. "We are starting a common course, with optimism, with a smile, seriousness, awareness of reality and basically for better days for this area which usually worries the world with negative news," said Greek deputy sports minister Giorgos Vasiliadis that hosted the signing of a memorandum after meetings in Thessaloniki. Vasiliadis was joined in signing the agreement with his counterparts from Serbia Vanja Udovicic, Bulgaria Krasen Kralev and Romania Bogdan Matei. Also present were representatives of the football federations of the four countries. "We want to show that we are pioneering, we can do things together and that the Balkans are open to change. It is a very big day for us and we are moving forward to making our dream come true," Vasiliadis said.
